in a highly-masculinised world that celebrates striving and proving, she too is taught early on that giving is noble and receiving is selfish. that asking for support means she is weak and that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a ‘self-made’ success story.
she moves through life seeing this in every layer of her society.
her feminine nature that is designed to thrive on connection and belonging starts drifting towards the myth of individuality from a very young age, slowly disconnecting her from the very ecosystem she is a part of. now, something as simple as asking for help feels like dependence and is often accompanied by a lot of shame.
even if she somehow manages to escape that conditioning, she finds that receiving comes with conditions around her worth that is always tied to something outside of her. being a good student, or a girl who meets the external beauty standards, or an obedient daughter, or an independent self-sufficient woman, or giving wife and a selfless mother.
this slowly builds a shield around her heart that dictates she is worthy only when she gives and does for others, a shield that doesn’t allow her to receive even the simplest well-meaning gestures of care, affection and service offered to her.
on a personal level, it makes her look at these acts of kindness from the lens of her perceived flaws. because she is so deeply conditioned to attach her value to her outward appearance, to how she speaks, to whether or not she thinks or feels like most around her, whenever any form of goodness comes her way, she can’t help but question its legitimacy, its realness.
in the space of relationships, this hardens her heart and makes it difficult for her to believe that someone might want to love her with pure and true devotion. that someone might be drawn to her for who she is in her most natural state, and not for her achievements or how much she can do for others including that person.
in the realm of her career and business, this leads her to taking on the stride of “i can do it all” when she might actually be needing support underneath. it makes her equate delegation with weakness and losing control, depriving her of the nourishment that is always available through the support of those around her.
and on a spiritual level, this shield makes it difficult for her to believe in the unseen support of the grace that’s always guiding her. often leading to an over-riding of her intuitive wisdom in situations that cannot be navigated solely via logic. it makes her more impatient and less relaxed around problems that may present themselves with a solution only if she allowed herself to truly feel and receive what’s unfolding within her.

i have been seeing a lot of these shifts in my feminine softening work with women. and i feel it’s necessary.
because these initial permissions are what leads to restoring and returning to the various beautiful aspects of our femininity that include our capacity to receive without shame or guilt.
i see it as a good sign if you are longing to receive love and support without having to perform, earn your worth, over give and over work. if you’re craving to receive deeper intimacy, belonging and emotional connection in your life and relationships.
because it’s through these desires is how we truly arrive to the heart of this feminine art of receiving. it is through these sacred callings that we allow ourselves to melt our hard masculine shield and soften into our feminine essence.

Money magnetism in times of economic shifts – an article for the feminine-essenced woman who wants to learn how to trust + receive from the masculine-providing energy of money no matter how turbulent the economic times in her outer world may feel like.
almost every time when there’s a shift in the economy, a lot of fear starts getting stirred up in the world around money. with the news and every other form of media loudly suggesting an economic downturn, most of us find it difficult to believe in another, in a better reality.
this affects feminine-natured women more than others because they are usually more sensitive to their surroundings and what goes on in their living environments.
someone who is in a salaried role takes on the fear of losing their job. someone who is an established business owner fears a dip in their daily, weekly or monthly income. and someone with a baby business fears not being able to make their ends meet.
it is natural for these fears to exist, after all the mind believes what the eyes see and the ears hear.
but here’s something else that happens at the same time in parallel.
someone receives their most awaited and well deserved promotion in their corporate job. an established business owner reaches a new milestone of growth. a newbie entrepreneur records their highest income month.
so if the world really is experiencing an economic downturn or a recession as they say, why is someone receiving riches and financial abundance while someone else’s situation is the opposite?
while it feels easy to assume that this is about someone’s luck or potential being higher than the others, it is usually the belief system operating in their energetic world that determines the outcomes in their physical world.
time and again in my experience of supporting women with their money magnetism, i have seen that when a woman starts healing her relationship with money, she naturally arrives to the knowing that no matter how much fear is stirred up in times of economic shifts, the energy of money will continue to be greater than the physical paper notes (or the digital currencies) circulating in the world.
she starts understanding that any given day, money is simply a physical representation of the providing energy of the divine masculine source. she knows that as long as she is in right receivership with money, it will flow into her life.
and so the more she trusts and expect money to fill her life, the more mysterious and almost, magical ways it finds to fulfil her desires.
these are the simple laws of feminine-masculine polarity, after all.
when a feminine vessel, we women in this case, create the space for money to flow into our lives, it is the most natural thing for the masculine energy of money to flow into that vessel.
the deeper our energetic capacity to receive, the easier money will find to come and fill our lives.
i witnessed this in my business last year around the time when the world had started to feel the impact of an economic shift. the geopolitical landscape had started to look unpredictable. and as with any economic shift, one could sense the uncertainty in the energy on and off the internet.
amidst all of this, i noticed how one thing didn’t change at all. that was my business growing and the money flowing in my life through it. if the world really was in a recession or was entering into one, why was my business not getting affected by it, i wondered.
i was working way lesser since i was now exploring the traveling entrepreneur life. naturally then, i was putting even lesser ‘effort’ in the process of growing my business. and yet, my business income kept flowing in, money just kept supporting me.
those of us who understand the concept of feminine embodiment will know that this was nothing but an extension of my inner money magnetism. that was fuelled and continues to be fuelled by my trust in the providing energy of money.
if we really think of it, all of us have at least once experienced a time in our lives when nothing outside of us appeared to be in favor of our desires coming true, but we continued to trust in the protective, providing masculine energy of the unknown power.
this energy of our trust created the space for us to receive our prayers in ways we couldn’t possibly have imagined.
we stayed in connection with this energy of sufficiency, acknowledging the presence of the divine grace in the existing richness of our life. we didn’t obsess over the how’s and when’s and instead embodied the energy of surrender and gave over our control to this divine over-arching power.
thus magnetising our desires sooner than we had expected. in a way that we didn’t even know was possible.
in times of economic shifts too, it is our trust in the providing-masculine energy of money that helps us tune out the noise of the outer world and tune into our wise inner voice to receive the inspiration to multiply our resources in soul-nourishing ways, while making the best use of the money we already have.
i hold the memory of so many moments from my past corporate life, when everything around me was working fine- the economy was great, i was taking home a big salary, the performance of the company i was working for was stable, but i was drenched in the fear of money running out on me.
since restoring my relationship with money, no matter what’s happening in my outside world, i find myself feeling safe, abundant, and sovereign with money. living my days with a deep knowing that money always has my back.
in Module 6 of my money magnetism course, i talk about how no matter what season of our lives or the season of the economy, it is in the nature of money to provide for us. it would simply go to whoever is open and willing to receive it.
through the real-life examples mentioned in this offering, i share how money doesn’t see our race, colour, class or religion. it doesn’t see even if we are business owners or salaried employees.
it just responds to our energy of sufficiency, to our energy of trust and receptivity.
as long as we have physically created the channels through which it can arrive into our lives, money will continue to fulfil its duty of taking care of us.

in such instances, i like to remind them that any given day, each one of us have access to our divine intuitive cues that guide us towards what needs to be done, what kind of channels we need to create for our financial desires to be fulfilled.
when we are relaxed in our energy of ease, trust and surrender, we become more receptive to this intuitive wisdom and are able to make decisions that lead us directly in the direction of our desires, even when the outside world is in a state of panic. this step is so important because money is all the time mirroring our energy.
if we are spending our days drenched in the energy of fear, of lack and scarcity, of tough times ahead, then money will simply respond to our energy by moving farther away from us.
if we have internalised borrowed beliefs like ‘this is a tough time for business’ or ‘the market is slow, so i gotta settle for the salary i am being offered’ and are using the lens of these beliefs to make our everyday decisions, then money is simply going to confirm these beliefs back to us.

Healing your relationship with men and money – an article for the feminine-essenced woman who wants to learn how to identify and tend to any possible wounding she may have around receiving from men, especially when it comes to money.
i truly believe that no matter how deeply a woman has been conditioned by her hyper-masculine environments, there is a part of her that is still attuned to her natural feminine design.
the part of her that lets her know when something doesn’t feel good to her.
the part of her that instantly signals to her when she is over giving, over working or over functioning for that what her heart desires.
this inner guiding voice becomes even more louder in the space of her love life because this is one area of her life where she truly thrives when she can receive from a masculine partner who cherishes, adores, respects and loves her.
this is why when she is operating in overdrive mode always chasing, always leading, initiating and moving her romantic relationships forward, she is met with disappointment and dissatisfaction that she can’t really explain but feels deeply in her heart.
in contrast to this, something beautifully shifts within her when she allows herself to receive from men especially in the space of love and romance.
she melts like ice, her heart opens like a blooming flower, the honey of her inner pleasure starts flowing in her body.
there is another layer to this that gets exposed for her own good. how deeply she can receive from men also has a lot to do with how she relates with money.
because no matter what a man does for her, in one way or the other, it will involve some form of financial investment.
and so at a root level, if she hasn’t yet healed her worthiness for money and the goodness it can bring to her life, she will find it really hard to receive from men as well.
i can share an example from my own life where i had a very tender experience of extraction for my financial resources for quite a few years in my young adult life. a time that also shook my entire energetic foundation with money despite coming from a emotionally secure upbringing around money.
after i spent the next few months rebuilding this relationship, the most natural next step for me was to tend to the wounding that made it difficult for me to trust and receive from men, especially when it came to money.
as a newly single woman in the modern dating world, i’d notice how after every date my natural orientation would be to reach for the check.
i was so used to paying not just for me but for another person in my life that sometimes even forcibly, i’d cover my share when the man in front was so eager to take care of it all.
i still send blessings to that one man who few months into my dating life during one of our dinners, looked into my eyes and said to me, “I don’t like it so much when you do all the work of planning our dates. I want to please you, not the other way round. Can you let me do that?”
an interaction that changed everything. it all felt like a puzzle at first. but with time, i started noticing how happy it made embodied masculine men to take care of me through their money. and more importantly, i observed how good it felt to my inner system to be the one receiving these simple gestures of love, affection and adoration.
(this was a realisation that also made me forgive the dis-embodied men in my past for their shortcomings because i found it so easy to accept that just as i had so many shields placed on my heart that made it hard for me to receive, these men too were possibly not connected with their masculine essence that inspired them to give to the women in their life.)
in this process of healing my relationship with men and money, i eventually came to be in right receivership with both of these masculine energy forms. and now find myself effortlessly trusting them to take care of me, come what may.
a key learning from these experiences that i share in my money magnetism course is that any given day, both men and money love us.
it is in their inherent (masculine) nature to care for us feminine-essenced women, to provide for us, to protect us, to facilitate the fulfilment of both our needs and our desires.
the innate design of their masculine nature is to pour into us, to be in service to us, to nourish our lives inside out.
but because we live in such a hyper-masculine world, receiving from men, especially if that’s money, is looked down upon, is often frowned upon.
this, as a result, either turns us into dis-embodied feminists or leaves us feeling confused around how to respond to the generosity of men.
in my 1-1 work of supporting women with their feminine softening in love, i have witnessed that as independent high-achieving women, we usually find ourselves oscillating between two feelings state when it comes to receiving from men.
one, where we feel that we are capable enough to provide for ourselves and don’t need anything from men (a classic example of hyper-independence caused by our over-masculinised conditioning).
and second, where we feel that by accepting money from men in form of paid bills, material gifts or experiences, we owe them something in return, intimacy more specifically, even when we are not ready for it.
when the truth here is, no embodied masculine man with a secure relationship with money would think or expect either of the above from a woman he is investing in, emotionally, energetically and financially.
something our hyper-masculine conditioning keeps women uninformed about is that any man who is drawn to a woman he sincerely wants to build a future with, will give to her from a place of sincere care, respect and affection (and love, as the relationship deepens).
this also means that in instances when he doesn’t have oodles of money to shower her with things or gestures involving money, he will find creative ways to make her feel valued and cared for.
just as feminine-essenced women feel the most fulfilled when receiving with joy, warmth and affection (not shame or guilt), men love to give to women (and to their own friends and family) because it makes them feel embodied and fulfilled in their masculine-providing nature.
money just happens to be one of the many mediums they can express their generous, protective, providing instincts in their relationships with people they value.
the only kind of men who match the (above mentioned) fearful states of feeling are the ones who are carrying their own fears around money, and hence expect women to go 50-50 in romance, for instance. (i explain more about these dynamics in the Men and Money module of my money magnetism course.)
a self-reflection exercise
i invite you to reflect if you resonate with any of the below –
if you’re single,
you start feeling uncomfortable as the date is ending and it’s time for the bill to arrive.
you stay away from the subject of money in your discussions with your suitors, more so, if the man you’re dating comes with debt or earns less than you.
when the man covers the bills on your dates, plans and pays for everything in the dating process, you either feel guilty or feel like you owe him something in return.
and if you’re in a committed partnership,
you often feel triggered by your partner’s spending habits.
you steer clear of the subject of money fearing it might disturb the peace of your relationship.
the fear of you out-earning your partner and he possibly exploiting you for your wealth looms in the shadows.
if you relate to any of these scenarios, then instead of labelling this as something wrong with you, i invite you to consider the possibility that this might neither be about you or men, and is more often that not the result of our wounded-masculine conditioning, the kind that is rooted in scarcity.
i can speak from my experience of working with women in this area that no matter what your history with men and money has been, once you start repairing your relationship with your inner worthiness around receiving, you’ll find yourself naturally peeling back the layers of this conditioning and entering into a secure and enriching relationship with both money and men.
you will start feeling safe in communicating your preferences and non-negotiables around money to the men in your life.
whether you’re single & dating or are in a long-term partnership, you will be able to have realistic conversations with men about money without dimming your inherent magnetism.
having worked so closely with women witnessing them relish the fruits of reforming their relationship with both money and men, I can tell you that all of the above is possible, if that’s what you heart truly desires for your love life.

What is a feminine business – an article for the sensitive, aspirational, creative woman who wants to birth her gifts in the world through a business that nourishes + enriches both her soul and her bank account.
when i decided to translate my personal journey of feminine embodiment into a business practice, my natural instinct was to look around for success stories of those who had walked this path before me.
i was curious to see how they were applying the art of feminine embodiment in the way they led themselves, created their businesses and offered their services.
that exciting pursuit soon turned into a disappointment when i saw practitioners in the feminine embodiment space hustling in their hyper-masculine energy to create six, seven figure businesses.
as someone who had opted out of that same hustle by leaving her high-flying corporate career behind, my nervous system instantly refused to accept those as the kind of success stories i needed for this next phase of my life.
where was the ease, where was the pleasure, where was the richness in these stories – my heart searched for these answers.
having spent the previous year on a sabbatical consciously slowing down and identifying my body’s natural pace, i wanted to create a business that was led by my heart.
i wanted to savor the juice out of my days while birthing this business in alignment with my inner sensitivities, with the natural rhythm of my body.
i wanted my business to be identified for my natural expertise as a coach, as a mentor but not at the expense of making my body work 24×7, striving, pushing, chasing clients.
so, i decided to undertake an experiment.
every time i would feel that old urge of my workaholic self to yet again strive, to yet again push, force, hustle myself into productivity, i would come back into my body, soften into it and connect back with my flow.
and then from that place of flow, of calm, of this unshakeable connection with my inherent enough-ness, i would listen to my heart, to the silent whispers of my body and take the next steps to create my feminine business.
today, it’s been over three wildly successful years of listening to my heart and my wise feminine body, of enjoying creating a sustainable and deeply profitable business that feels as nourishing as it did on the first day of its inception.

something to remember when healing your relationship with money
sharing these thoughts reminds me of something i mention to women when they start healing their relationship with money through my money magnetism offerings. i advise them to be very compassionate with themselves and not fall prey to the internalised voices of shame or judgement in assuming that there is anything wrong with them if they don’t have a secure, peaceful and empowering relationship with money yet.
because time and time again, while supporting women from different walks of life, i keep coming back to the truth that no matter what class, race or color, the paper money was never designed to be in the hands of women. precisely why, so many of us carry some kind of an emotional charge when it comes to the subject of money. most times, without the slightest idea of it.
through my lived + taught experience with this art of money magnetism, what i have also come to see is that once we have liberated this inner heaviness around our desire for abundance, no more feel the need to comply to masculine-focused, extractive work systems to actualise those desires (that were never designed to work for us feminine-essenced beings).
instead, we turn to the gift of our inherent magnetism that naturally guides us towards easeful, life-enhancing ways to create a financially resourced life that we look forward to living every new day.
i witnessed this in the lives of women who had joined the live launch of this money magnetism course earlier this year. and i hear this feedback from women who have self-studied this work since then :
